Get Involved: Gardening Sundays

On the last Sunday of every month, a small crowd gathers in Penn Road Gardens — gloves on, trowels ready, and smiles at the ready. Our Monthly Gardening Sundays have become one of the nicest ways to spend a morning with neighbours.

Everyone’s welcome — no experience needed! Some people prune or plant, others sweep paths or simply chat and enjoy the fresh air. It’s relaxed, social, and surprisingly satisfying to see what we can achieve in just a couple of hours.

We meet from 10am to midday, and there’s tea, biscuits, and a good bit of laughter along the way. Come along next month and give it a try!
