Come and join us - May Community Gardening Session!

Our next Gardening Sunday is taking place this weekend, and everyone is warmly invited to come along and get involved - and take home a free sunflower!

Whether you’re a regular volunteer, have helped out once or twice before, or have been thinking about joining in for the first time, Gardening Sunday is a relaxed chance to spend a couple of hours outdoors, meet neighbours, and help care for a space that belongs to the whole community.

This month’s session will focus on pruning, weeding, and cutting back perimeter vegetation as we continue looking after Penn Road Gardens together. No gardening experience is needed, and all equipment and guidance will be provided on the day.

Time: 10:00am to 12:00 midday

Location: Penn Road Gardens, N7

Tea, coffee, and refreshments will be available, and as a small thank you to everyone who joins us this month, we’ll also have a limited number of free sunflower plants available to take home and grow.

Gardening Sundays are always friendly, informal mornings, and every bit of help makes a difference. Whether you can stay for the full session or just pop by for part of it, we’d love to see you there.
