If you’ve walked through the gardens recently, you’ve probably noticed it already, but spring is returning to the gardens, and there’s a lot to see!
The hellebores are out in force at the moment, they are a recent addition but are already becoming a firm favourite!
The crocuses are making themselves known too, they're popping up all around the gardens and are a joy to see. Alongside them you can also spot some rosemary in flower, early blossoms on branches, and of course the euphorbia's unusual blooms. A lot of what you can see now comes from ongoing care and small efforts over time. Our garden volunteers invest so much time in keeping things going through the colder months all adds up to this moment when everything starts to come back to life.
The gardens are something we all share, and it’s always nice to see them being used and enjoyed more as the weather improves. If you’re passing through, do take a moment to have a look around.
And if you ever fancy getting involved, even in a small way, we’re always happy to have more people take part - click here for information on that! And you can follow the garden's instagram account here!
